Léonard Kollros:
Léonard Kollros studied optometry at the FHNW (2014-2017) and then joined the ELZA Institute, where he specialised in the management and treatment of keratoconus, working closely with Prof. Hafezi. In December 2021, he obtained a Master in Advanced Clinical Optometry. Today, Léonard works as an optometrist at the ELZA Institute, is co-manager of the Lorella & Léonard Optic shop in Biel, teaches at the FHNW and is pursuing a PhD in optometry at Cardiff University.

Emilio A. Torres-Netto, MD, PhD, FEBO, FWCRS, is a specialist in corneal, cataract, and refractive surgery based at the ELZA Institute in Zurich, Switzerland. His clinical and research focus includes keratoconus, cross-linking, and refractive procedures. He holds a PhD in science from UNIFESP-EPM and an MD from the University of Geneva. A recipient of over 20 international awards, he has been honored with, among others, the José Barraquer Medal (2022), the Waring Award (2023), and the Achievement Award (2024).
